ACCESS

Active UV&Me medical student chapter members are granted access to our resource library by
using a password supplied by the chapter president.

Prospective founders of a new chapter may gain access to the library
by contacting us.

CONTRIBUTE ORIGINAL MATERIAL!

We encourage members to submit original educational material for approval and possible addition to the Library. If you would like to create a new PowerPoint or video please adhere to our Curriculum (on file in the Resource Library) and follow these recommendations:

  • First slide identifies: “UV&Me Presentation;” Author name(s); UV&Me university chapter name; Date created
  • Second slide is the presentation title slide
  • Do not insert or use template with logo identifying an institution (university) on each slide with exception for the first slide (as mentioned above) and last slide
  • Add complete written dialog in Speaker Notes for each slide
    • Dialog should explain, not merely recite, bullet points on slide
  • [Optional] Submit accompanying “Speaker’s Guide” document with tips for presenters
  • [Optional] Provide a fully narrated version in video format

Upon submission your material will be reviewed by board-certified dermatologists at Sun Safety for Kids for approval or for suggested edits. It must be approved by UV&Me in writing prior to use in teaching children. Unique and outstanding submissions may be recommended for addition to the Resource Library. If so, UV&Me reserves the right to edit or modify the material and to publish it online for use by others.
Contact Us if you have questions, or would like instructions for submitting material.
